The Outside Gift Guide Returns!
The calendar reads December now, and with "Black Friday" behind us, and "Cyber-Monday" going on as we speak, I suppose it's time to start thinking about purchasing holiday gifts once again. So, if you have an adventurer on your list, and you're not sure what to put under the tree for them this year, you may want to checkout the The 2008 Gift Guide from Outside Magazine.
The interactive website asks you a few basic questions, like are you buying for a man, a woman, or both, how much do you want to spend, and the type of gift you're looking for, with such categories as "Electronics & Photography" and "Travel Gear & Apparel". Make your selections, and the guide will present you with a neatly organized page that fit the criteria you entered, complete with prices and reviews as well. Simple as that.
Need some other gift buying tips? Never fear, as the Outside folks are here to help! They also offer up advice on how to give gifts to the woman in your life (apparently us guys are easy!), how to give back to a good cause, and even how to give gifts on a budget, which may be important this year.
As if that wasn't enough, they've also broken down the top gear items into categories as well, so it's easy to find the best gifts in the area of training gear, travel stuff, trekking equipment, and more.
Take the stress out of gift buying this year. Use the guide and get them what they really want. As for me, I'll be happy with just about anything. Really, I will! :)
