Bicycle Touring Pro Hosts "Bicycle Lifestyle" Web Event

The website Bicycle Touring Pro is gearing up for a big event next weekend. In an effort to promote “Bicycle Travel As A Modern Lifestyle Choice”, the site will host an online only event with some of the biggest names in the cycling industry dropping by to contribute.

Things get underway on Saturday, November 22nd and will continue through Sunday the 23rd, a slew of interviews, news, question and answer sessions, and videos focused on bicycle travel, commuting, and lifestyle design. Amongst those scheduled to contribute are: The Adventure Cycling Association, BikeCommuters.com, Joe Kurmaskie author of The Metal Cowboy, and many more.

Many cyclists see riding as a way of life, and not just a way to get from Point A to Point B, and in this day and age, alternative modes of transportation are an important thing to consider. Just because gas has dropped below $2/gallon again in much of the country doesn't mean we should all go back to our gas guzzlers. This is a very cool project using the web to get the word out about the cycling lifestyle and options for commuting, and I applaud the gang over at Bicycle Touring Pro for putting this on. I hope it's a huge success for them.
