10 (More!) Great Hikes of the World

We've had a number of these lists lately, but another one, with a fresh perspective, never hurts right? Well, those fine, adventurous chaps over at MSNBC.com came up with a list of the World's Top 10 Trekking Vacations that offers up a fine selection of options for those looking to put on a pair of boots and hit the trail.

The list is a bit short on the details for each trek, but does offer a nice, diverse, list from around the world. Some of the big names making the list include the Camino de Santiago in Spain, the John Muir Trail here in the States, and the Torres del Paine in Chile's Patagonia region. And those are the BOTTOM three trails on the list, so you know it only gets better from there.

Pretty much every region of the world is well represented here, with an iconic trail from each continent, save Antarctica, getting a mention. So, no matter where you are in the world, you should have one of these relatively close, and if you're looking to travel somewhere exotic, you'll find plenty of choices there as well.

Thanks to the Sierra Blogging Post for the tip on this one!
