The Adventures of Hannah McKeand Continue!

New Polar speed record holder and Adventure Blog favorite Hannah McKeand didn't finish her adventures when she left the ice. Following her solo-unsupported skiing expedition do the South Pole, Ms. McKeand set off on a sailing adventure that, according to this article over at TheOceans.net didn't go exactly as planned.

It seems that our intrepid adventurer hit some rough waters in the South Seas, and hit a four day storm just hours after leaving the Tasmanian coast behind. Following a very breif respite however, things went from bad to worse, with wicked storms sending water over the decks, a crew member being knocked overboard, and the ship onto it's side more than once.

Does this girl ever take some down time? Most people, following a Polar expedition, would return home for some quiet time, but not Hannah. She has to go off and find something even more dangerous to keep her occupied. That's why we love you Hannah! :)
