National Geographic is known for it's amazing photography. Each issues is guaranteed to have at least one or two photos that will take your breath away. For the past 18 years, the magazine has had an annual photo contest and the winners have recently been announced.
This years winners, as always, up hold the high standards of NG's photos, with some amazing shots. I'm particularly taken with the second place winner with an amazing view of a Anasazi ruins in the grand canyon, and this honorable mention taken in Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia. All of them are amazing though.
