50 Tours of a Lifetime

National Geographic Traveler is a nice companion magazine to the traditional National Geographic and the more outgoing Adventure. It's a nice magazine for the more weel heeled traveler looking for unique places to visit. In that spirit, they have released a list of 50 Tours of a Lifetime for those trips to regions of the World that are best not done independently. You'll find some excellent suggestions on the list, as you'd expect. Such as trips to both the Arctic and Antarctic, rafting on the Mekong River in China, or a nomadic expedition to Mongolia. There is certainly something for everyone on the list, from comfortable, easy travel, to challenging trips to the ends of the Earth. Bookmark the list now so you'll know where to find it when you start planning your next getaway.
