We're nearly through the first full day of the AdventureXstream Expedition Race, and as of this writing, Team BagelWorks is in the lead, followed closely by Santa Fe Bear Pair, and Team Gonzo. Judgine from the leaderboard there are a number of teams in striking distance however, so it's far to early to tell who is going to come out on top. GoLite Timberland should be a strong contender at the end, although at the moment they are about an hour off the pace. But as we all know, an hour isn't much time in a race of this length, where skill on the trail, bike, and water all play an important roll, and banking early rest time can pay off near the end. More updates as the race progresses.
