Exploring Canyon de Chelly

Outside Online has posted another great article, from the October edition of their print mag. Written by Hampton Sides it's a fascinating story of exploring Arizona's Canyon de Chelly. The canyon lies entirely on Navajo land, so you can only enter it when accompanied by tribal guides. But once you're inside, this sacred place will overwhelm you with it's stark beauty and incredble twists on what we've come to expect light to look like. On top of that, the Canyon has an ancient history, having been populated with different tribes for over 2000 years, dating back to the Anasazi. Some of the Navajo still live there today, farming the land as their forefathers did before them. It sounds like an amazing place to visit, and the article will have you planning your own trip soon.
