The full August issue of Backpacker Magazine is now available online. You'll find all the articles from the issue that just left the newsstand available for your reading pleasure.
In addition to the "25 Habits of Highly Effective Hikers" article that I mentioned yesterday, you'll also find an interesting tale of a long distance hiker who hadn't talked in 20 years as well as a story of spending 24-hours inside the flagship store of L.L. Bean. You'll also find a National Parks Lifelist that will certainly add more things to your "must do" list, and the usual array of articles on gear and other outdoor adventures.
It's great that Backpacker makes these articles available as they are always full of things for me to blog about, and they generally have lots of great content in their magazine. Of course, that shouldn't stop you from picking up the print mag, as that issue is far easier to take to the bathroom. Unless you have a laptop and wifi. In which case, I don't want to hear about it. ;)
