A month or so back I blogged about the Wise Women, a couple of gals, Sue and Jean, who have been backpacking for some time, but had recently switched over to the Back Packing Light approach. The first two articles in there series were fun and interesting reads, as they discovered the possiblities (and limitations) of going light.
Now the third, and final article has been posted with the focus this time on seeing how the new gear, and approach, works in the field. The article is an excellent look at how the gear performs, and what someone can expect with some of the newer, lighter, gear that is available. Both women discuss their experiences, and offer their list of gear as well.
I highly recommend this article for anyone looking to lighten their load the next time they head out on the trail.
